It was one of those days that you just want to curl up in bed with a book. With the blankets up to your neck. Hmm, thinking about it, a Snuggie, would come in handy for this type of day….Just kidding!
It was a gray day in April when I arrived at St. Joseph’s Church for the ceremony in Richardson. And as we made our way to Downtown Dallas to the Chase Tower Sky Lobby for the wedding reception, the clouds grew dark and ominous. The wind way blowing hard and threatened to knock over the petite bride. Not exactly the conditions you’d expect for a Dallas wedding. Then again, if there’s anything I’ve learned living in Dallas, it’s that the weather is unpredictable.
However, the weather did not deter Lele and Stephen’s wedding. The church was filled with family and friends and the Chase Tower Sky Lobby was beautifully styled. And they had a gorgeous wedding cake and the most amazing Groom’s cake I’ve seen, a pizza! It looked so real!
I loved the architecture of St. Joseph’s Church in Richardson. It was definitely more modern than the traditional Catholic church.
As you can see it was definitely windy. Just check out Lele’s hair!
So technically, we weren’t supposed to take pictures in this big marble hallway. In fact, we were asked to leave.
I loved their guestbook station. It’s a great way for guests to leave personal notes that the bride and grooms can look back at years to come.
Their cake? It was gorgeous! I loved all the peonies on the wedding cake.
How cute are these two? They were the most adorable ring bearer and flower girl!
Debby Jewesson of Branching Out Events did an amazing job on the flowers. As always. Love Debby!
Check out this groom’s cake. It looks like legit pizza. Good enough to eat!
So I have to give a shout out to my girl, Celina Gomez for inviting me along to shoot this wedding. She was the mastermind behind the shot on the left. She rocked it with her big mama lens, and below is what I got!
Congratulations Lele and Stephen! Your day was beautiful and feel so lucky to have been a part of it!
