Sometimes, I should listen to my own advice.
Like seriously, be quiet, and listen to myself.
Before WPPI, I wrote down a list of tips for first-timers to WPPI. Well, I should have taken a gander at that list before I left because I forgot stuff. Like the battery to my point & shoot camera. Like the battery charger for my big camera. Oy vey.
Santa Claus really had something when he sings, “Making a list, checking it TWICE.”
Suffice to say, the following are my few photos I took during WPPI.
I had the opportunity to meet the lovely Grace Ormonde. As in the Grace Ormonde of Wedding Style Magazine. I was able to grab this quick photo during her presentation at the Tofurious Wedding Marketing Consultant booth.
I got this quick shot of Fast Track Photographer founder, Dane Sanders in action during a live broadcast of Ask Dane with his Thirst Relief Mentee.
The ever fabulous Editor-in-Chief of Southern Weddings Magazine and mastermind behind Making Things Happen Intensive, my girl, Lara Casey, talking about getting published.
David Jay, of Showit, sharing cool stuff that is to come with Showit Sites. I seriously love this group. Showit is always looking out to better the experience for their customers.
So I almost didn’t get into this meeting. But I was determined. And I was also determined to chat a little more with Jasmine Star. So I went out on a limb, asked Jasmine about the meeting, and next thing I new, I was IN! As her guest! Wooo hooo!
The problem with forgetting the battery for my point & shoot camera is that I wasn’t able to take fun photos with all the friends I met up with. Because my arms are simply not long enough or strong enough for a self portrait with the big girl camera. So no fun shots with friends. Like at parties
Here’s a teaser of the Photog Shootout: Vegas Edition we did down in Old Las Vegas. The theme was “Dazed and Confused.” Stay tuned…
