So before I moved to Texas, I didn’t know what a bridal session was. Simply because they aren’t common in California. I quickly learned that bridal sessions are a fun Southern tradition.
Samantha and Jon tied the knot this past weekend at the Maple Manor Hotel, and while I work on those photos, here is her Bridal session at the McKinney Cotton Mill.
The day before her session, it was one of the rainiest, wettest, and stormiest days I had seen this year. We had a backup plan in place, and I was glad Sam chose the Cotton Mill since it has plenty of indoor spaces, especially in the event of rain.
Luckily for her, the rain held out and it turned into a beautiful, sunny day, so we had the chance to go outside as well. She’s wearing a gorgeous Maggie Sottero gown from Mockingbird Bridal
Stay tuned for photos from their wedding at the Maple Manor Hotel!
I’m talking about both the basketball tournament and my life.
We are half way through the month of March, and calling it “March Madness” seems pretty appropriate. I like having room to breathe, and so far during the month of March, I’ve felt like I’ve been at an all out sprint since the first. And I don’t run. Unless there are bugs or something. But, I’m thankful. I’m thankful for the work, thankful for my clients, and thankful that my little business is doing its thing.
And when it comes to the NCAA tournament, it’s March Madness time! The time of year when I pick my college basketball teams following my non-strategy methods and seeing if my brackets do better than Cent’s. And watching his reaction when they do. Sometimes, at least.
Plus, a little sneak peek at Sam’s bridal portraits I took at the McKinney Cotton Mill last weekend. I won’t be able to share these until April!
