They met in their high school history class.
Their romance started just as friends and soon their friendship blossomed into something more.
And they have been together ever since.
Long before they were married, they were already parts of each others families, recalling times of being welcomed for impromptu dinners or walking in through unlocked front doors. At their wedding reception, Mark’s dad noted that the month marked their THIRTEENTH year together, and said, “It’s about time, Mark!”
Ramona and Mark’s wedding was one of the most fun events that I’ve been to. Everyone was wholeheartedly celebrating Ramona and Mark and you could tell that everyone was having a fantastic time. They started open dancing before it was even called, this wedding reception was rockin! Between the Hora, the toasts, Mark’s thank you speech, and the cake cutting, it was nonstop fun! Their ceremony was held at the Temple Isaiah, and their reception was just down the hill at the Veterans Memorial Building, both in Lafayette.
I had the pleasure of shooting this wedding alongside Jennifer Hosler of Candid Moments Weddings, who invited me for the wild ride.
The flower girl, Ramona’s niece, absolutely stole the show! She was out on the dance floor dancing up a storm.
Mark was certainly breaking it down on the dance floor with his now wife, Ramona!
During the cake cutting I heard Ramona tell Mark not to shove it in her face. He promised that he wouldn’t. Well, looks like he acted otherwise…
Thanks Ramona and Mark for having us share in your big day! I hope you have a fabulous time on your honeymoon in the Bahamas!
