One of things that surprises me about living in Texas is the extreme temperature swing. One day it will be 70 degrees. The next day 40 degrees. And if you’re not paying attention to the weather, you can get stuck in the cold…or heat. Now that it’s nearly winter, it can be difficult for me to remember that this is the same place that gets up past the 100’s in the summer. It feels like 150. And I feel like I’m going to melt or pass out (whichever comes first, really).
But now it’s cold. So let’s warm up with a wedding from July! No folks, I’m not six months behind, this is from a wedding I second shot alongside Lynn of Lynn in Love Photo. And as the second photographer, I always wait to blog it until I get the go ahead from the main photographer.
What can I say about this wedding? Delicious. Yes, delicious. The wedding was held at III Forks in Dallas, and for those who aren’t local, III Forks is a amazing steakhouse. The bride and groom, Patricia and Kenny, welcomed Lynn and I as guests, we sat at a guest table, and feasted on the wonderful dinner (while everyone else was eating, of course!) They had an intimate ceremony in the Courtyard and their reception in the Lamar Bonham Travis rooms. Since it was mid-July, I was happy to be indoors, for sure!
They are a multi-talented couple!
The only outdoor time of the day, right in front of the restaurant. It was literally a blazing 115+ degrees outside so we took a quick bridal party photo.
Arm wrestling? Why yes.
From arm wrestling to husband and wife!
Thanks to Lynn for having me along!
Happy Wedding Wednesday!
