Pages of Inspiration: Paris in the Springtime

I absolutely love this image. I love the vibe. I love the location. I just love the feeling this photo gives me.

It makes me nostalgic for France. I totally wish I was that girl sitting there. It makes me want to get on a plane and see Paris in the Springtime.

French Girl Sitting Across from the Eiffel Tower

Since returning from WPPI, I’ve been having this feeling. This feeling that something about my business needs to change. When I first started out, way before I knew anything at all about logo design or branding or marketing or all the psychology that goes along with it, I just knew that I needed a logo. Something that looked pretty. Something that looked professional, enough.

Well, I’ve found over the last several months that it’s just not me anymore. My logo, that is. I realized that I just have a logo and no clear, defined branding. I don’t have an emotional attachment to my logo. But, I’m working on remedying that. Because just like in life, we grow. We evolve. We change.

My journey as a photographer has led me to knew paths I never imagined. And now I feel like I’m just missing the right visual representation of who I am and what my work represents. The above photo is a small step towards getting to the core of who I am.

Thanks for coming along on this journey.

P.S. It’s a dream of mine to shoot a engagement sessions and/or a wedding (or two!) in Paris or in Provence or in Lyon (where I studied abroad!). Just wanted to put that out there.
