I’m currently knee deep in the new website and blog design, and can’t wait to launch all of it!
Until then, for all of you who are recently engaged (CONGRATS! Call me! hehe) or may be getting ready to get engaged, here’s a quick list from Every Last Detail to start your wedding planning!
Be sure to check out the full, detailed post on Every Last Detail!
(List from Every Last Detail)
Last week I attended the Rue Magazine launch party for their Texas issue at Wisteria. Wisteria is an amazing home decor store, full of great inspiration pieces. This week, Rue Magazine, the Gap, and Styld.by are hosting a collaborative event at Northpark Mall, and I’m so proud that my friends will be helping make the event a success – Sweet Pea Events, Sara & Rocky Photography, Sweet Honey Films, Posh Floral, as well as the always fun photo booth from Picture Dust.
If you want to attend, be sure to RSVP to email@example.com!
If you’ve been following my blog for any amount of time, you may know that I’m from California, but now I live in Texas. And I’m adjusting year by year. However, every summer, I’m reminded by the wall of heat that hits my face every time I go outside that it’s hot here. (Although, it hasn’t been horrible yet this year!)
I have a few clients in California who ask me to come back during the summer for their annual portrait sessions. An invitation to California is always welcome! And, in about ten days, I’m headed back! Would you like a portrait session? Be sure to email me for availability, only a few spots available!
Also…while I’m in California, I’m searching for a few select people for a portfolio refresh. If you fit the criteria below, and are available July 21-24, please contact met!
I’m almost done with the 30 Day Video Blog Challenge I joined, and I’m just about vlogged out.
However, here’s one about one of my favorite topics, The First Look.
In this video, I’m talking about the First Look – what it is and why it is beneficial to clients on their wedding day.
1. The First Look is awesome because the couple gets to see each other first, privately.
2. The First Look allows for more time for photos on the wedding day, namely bride and groom portraits (my fave!)
3. The First Look allows couples to enjoy the cocktail hour and mingle with guests prior to being introduced.
A First Look is always optional of course, however, I’m always thrilled when a couple opts to see each other before the ceremony on the wedding day!
Last week, I vlogged about how to have a stress free wedding. Today, I’m vlogging about how to be a stress free bride.
Yes, it’s possible.
I was one.
My clients are relaxed and laid back brides.
So yes, it’s possible. (Sneak peek of Samantha & Jon’s wedding coming up soon!)
