Today, I’m wishing my Dad a Happy Father’s Day.
He’s one of kind, with his own brand of humor (a wee bit corny), way of bonding (over the latest iPhone apps & tech gadgets), and pragmatic sensibilities. But I wouldn’t trade him for the world. I know many people who didn’t grow up with a father or had a father who wasn’t very present. But our dad? He was always there. He made sure our cars worked and we had working computers. He drove us to and from school and to our activities. He even got on stage for our performances of the Nutcracker to play one of the parents. He’s the best!
