How to Have a Stress Free Wedding

Every time I go to a wedding, or photograph a wedding, I can’t help but compare it to my own wedding day. Because honestly, we had the most fun wedding, ever.

(Yep, we posed with bikers outside the biker bar)

I wasn’t stressed. I was calm and so excited about getting married! And since I had passed the reigns of “command” to our coordinator, I didn’t have to worry about a thing, and neither did my mom, aunt, or sister. It was wonderful.

It probably seems unlikely. Or perhaps impossible. But based on my own experience with our wedding, I can tell you it is possible.

Stress Free Weddings can happen (as stress free as possible, of course!). I’m sharing a few tips on how to make it happen.

Emily Hudspeth - I love your chill attitude. I can imagine that your clients totally appreciate that awesome quality in you. And yes, hire a planner! Great advice.

Laura Dixon - This is such great advice, Catie! “Because honestly, we had the most fun wedding, ever.” Yes, yes you did :)

Catie Ronquillo Wood - Thanks L-Train! When are we gonna party it up for yours? :)

Catie Ronquillo Wood - Thanks girl! I also have this tendency to run ahead of schedule when shooting a wedding. ;) I’ll attribute that to my calm demeanor! ;)

Laura Dixon - It’s looking like the first weekend of June 2013 — in France :) Invites should be coming in the next few months…

Catie Ronquillo Wood - @[3211247:2048:Laura Dixon] Awesome!!! I seriously need a trip to France..and as long as we don’t have a bun in the oven, we will be there! Also, I’m photographing it, remember? ;)

Laura Dixon - Ohhh, didn’t realize there might be a bun in the oven soon! Well if not, I hope you can be there as a guest/photographer! We’ll have to talk deets soon.

Catie Ronquillo Wood - Well, none yet…but my mother-in-law may be clamoring for a grandkid come our next anniversary! ;)
