I have a love/hate relationship with Daylight Savings Time.
I love it because the days are longer and it’s light out later. Yesterday, after Cent got home from work, we went on a walk through the park across the street. It was delightful. It makes it possible to photograph sessions after people get off work, and into the 6 and 7 o’clock hour.
But, I hate it because it’s a beast to adjust to. I mean, I know it’s only a one hour difference, but it totally kicked my butt yesterday. On Sunday night, I could not fall asleep. I don’t think I knew what time it actually was. And then yesterday, even with copious amounts of coffee, I still felt like a zombie and fell asleep last night at 11:15.
Part of my coffee regimen…sitting outside yesterday afternoon.
But I’m thankful for it being light out later and later.
Now, if only Dallas summers felt like the weather yesterday, things would be amazing.
How are you adjusting to Daylight Savings Time?
