To this day, my dad still makes the best oatmeal. EVER. It’s sweet, a tiny bit salty, with a dash (or slab) of butter.
It’s the type that keeps a kid asking for more. And it’s how I learned to eat oatmeal.
Now, as an adult, I only like to eat chocolate oatmeal. I pretty much can’t eat it any other way, although, I’ve tinkered the recipe a bit to make it a lot more diet friendly.
