Summer Hibernation

Okay, so it’s a little ridiculous that it’s Day 38 of over 100 degree weather. I think when it’s this hot, it’s inevitable to talk about the weather. A few more days and it will be a new record.

Staying indoors in the AC, brainstorming for the future of my business and personal life, and sipping on iced coffee. All of that sounds perfect to me.

When I’m not taking photos, I absolutely love to write. Write down ideas, write down goals, write, write write. I really love using Moleskine notebooks which come in a variety of sizes and colors. I feel like my ideas and thoughts are safe in a Moleskine. Probably doesn’t hurt that great artists used Moleskines too.

So while it’s going to be over 100 for at least another week, you can find me locked in the house or in a well air-conditioned coffee shop writing. And sipping on iced coffee.

I was just in California this past weekend, and totally spoiled with 78 degree weather. It even was cold at night. Coming back to Dallas with a thirty degree increase was tough. Oh well. I can’t wait for FALL!

Also, our Styled Engagement Session winning couple will be announced SOON! Stay tuned!
