Pages of Inspiration: Favorite Photo. EVER.

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend! We spent our time hanging out with good friends, who are like our local family.

Every few months, I’ll sit down and evaluate my work. What I like. What I don’t like. What I did well. What I didn’t do so well.

And then, set myself a goal. Or two. Of what I want to improve at doing.

This photo from our recent Travel Shoot that was featured on Style Me Pretty Texas (woo hoo!) is one of my favorite photos. EVER. If I could make photos like this every day and twice on Sunday, it would be amazing. The funny thing about this photo and the conditions under which it was taken are interesting. Prior to photographing this couple, the rain poured down. Twice. And the hail pelted us. There were thunderstorms looming. Luckily, our couple arrived a little bit later, and the rain seemed to have left, but the light was changing constantly. The clouds were moving at such a pace that I had to change my settings frequently.

Even with the conditions, I’m so happy with how this photo turned out. I think it shows how I want my photography to look and feel moving forward. I love the light, the vibe, the look, and the feeling. This is definitely one of my inspiration images for re-branding.

LOVE it! Isn’t it cool that when despite everything that goes wrong, you can still create such amazingness?!

That is a very beautiful photo. I like it and also how the light just wraps itself around him. Great image.
