Monthly Archives: September 2010 Over the last couple of months, I’ve been involved in this really cool project called CRAVE, thanks to Jenn Sprinkle of Waxpaper. CRAVE innovatively connects urban gals to the sassiest, gutsiest, most inspiring people they need to know in town. Soirees, gatherings, and online networking — we are your guide to everything you CRAVE in…  It’s amazing how quickly time passes. Because it was five years ago that we met. It was five years ago that Cent asked me out. And while I actually missed the date by a few days, it’s probably around this day five years ago that we became official. But that’s okay. Because it’s the thought…  Hey engaged couples! Crate & Barrel is having their Wedding Parties again. When I was engaged I attended one of these parties and it was fun! Crate & Barrel opens their store early just for those couples (and bridesmaids & friends) considering registering. I went with my bridesmaid, Elana, and we had Mimosas and other…  I’ve been in the midst of scheduling shoots, and with each client I’ve recommended shooting around sunset. Or, in photographer speak, during “The Golden Hour.” It’s that hour or so before sunset where the light is just golden and buttery. You know, if light were buttery. And now that Dallas is finally cooling down, (hey…  I’m super excited and super humbled to have the Southern inspired collaborative shoot with Lauren Kelly Events up on the local Dallas guide on Elizabeth Anne Designs.
