If These Walls Could Talk

They would say, “Thank You.”

For saving them from beige. For saving them from boring. For giving it some personality.

As promised here are photos from our newly painted walls!

Remember this entertainment center?

And the thing over the mantle? It pretty much serves no purpose. The previous owners installed it, but they didn’t install any lights or anything…

And eventually, we’re going to get a new couch. Whether Cent likes it or not. See this couch is a hand-me-down from his parents that he’s had since he moved away from home. While it’s comfortable and serves its purpose, I want a new couch. There. I said it.

As my mom would say, our walls are still suffering from a case of “blank wall syndrome” but are starting to come along. We have a couple of areas to fill, some curtains to buy and hang, and maybe some more shelves to install. But I’m excited we’re taking steps in the right direction to making this house our home.

Happy Monday!

Love the yellow! We can never find the right color yellow. One time (I kid you not) we rolled some on the wall and it was HIGHLIGHTER yellow. Also, love that you put the couch and admitted your (not so much) love for the couch. Keepin’ it real Catie… keepin’ it real. xoxo b
