Yesterday, I realized that I’m doing what I’m meant to be doing.

I trekked down to Waco for a photo shoot that I’ve been planning with an awesome wedding planner, Lauren, of Lauren Kelly Events, since February. And it was amazing. It was so fun to just be entrenched in something that I love. Something that I poured my passion and drive into to create something so fulfilling. Something that feeds my creative spirit.

It’s that feeling where I was technically “working” but it hardly felt like work. More like a good time hanging out with girlfriends. Who wouldn’t want to do that?!

Back at the Making Things Happen Intensive in January, I said that I wanted to plan a photo shoot with a wedding planner. Yesterday, it came to fruition. And it felt so good to fulfill that goal. To make it happen. To make things happen.

I can’t wait to do it again.

And because posts are better with photos, but yesterday’s shoot is not quite ready for the all the eyes of the Internet, here you go:

Cooked Tree Coffee House Dallas
The Crooked Tree Coffeehouse in Uptown. It’s become one of my favorite spots for meetings or to just get out of the house to do some work. It reminds me a lot of a coffee house in San Diego that I used to go to in college. Ah memories.
