No close friends to gab with in the afternoon. Basically a clean slate. And imagine taking a fledgling business along for the ride? Scary!…  Sometimes you meet people and you just know that your lives have to intersect. And intersect again. Even before you meet in person. This is what it’s like with Justin and Mary Marantz. In a word, they are AMAZING! On Tuesday, I attended their Spread the Love Workshop here in Dallas. After seeing them in…  Cowboy boots. Cotton-Eyed Joe. Warm apple pie. This was my first official Texas wedding, where I truly got the “Texan” vibe, including cowboy boots and country music. It was the first time I heard Cotton-Eyed Joe played at a wedding and the first time I got to witness the line dancing to go along with…  Two weeks ago, I mentioned that we’d be going vegetarian until the end of the month. Well, we’re in the home stretch. And I’m not going to lie, it’s been tough. Going to the supermarket and seeing the meat aisle. As a self-proclaimed steak lover, it was hard. Although, not as difficult as I imagined… I’ve always been a fan of stories. Stories about people. Fictional and real. But it was usually the real stories that actually happened that would steal my heart and keep my interest. Make me want to know more. And now, more than just any stories, I love listening to people’s love stories. How they met….
