Monthly Archives: June 2009 I forget how I first heard about Dane Sanders. I think it might have been when I listened to the inaugural episode of Ron Dawson‘s F-Stop Beyond podcast series. Or maybe another photographer had featured him and linked to him. I’m not sure. But since I found out about Dane and all that he does…  “A castle? An abandoned castle? In the middle of nowhere? Sweet!” These were my thoughts when I was invited to shoot with a group of local photographers at the Preston Castle in Ione, California. It’s pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Although, they do have a Mexican restaurant with lunch specials. But it basically…  With just about 40 more days to go, our invitations out in the mail, I figured it was time to share these beauties! One of the things I knew that I wanted to do for our wedding was the invitations. I had seen a lot of gorgeous stationery online, but none of it really spoke…  A doctor in training. A fashionista designer. An autism therapist. I know, they are so talented. And I get to call them my friends. I went to college with these lovely ladies at University of California, San Diego (UCSD). We also traveled across Europe during a 23-day quasi-backpacking trip back in 2006. So fun! When…  So I’m a klutz. There’s no doubting that. In fact, I’m clumsier than I’d like to admit. I’m the type of person who will walk into door frames, hit protruding corners, get belt loops hooked on handles, run into walls (yes, it’s happened), and trip UP a step. It’s not pretty.
