The shyness quickly melted…  This past Saturday marked a momentous occasion. My mom graduated from her graduate school program in Nursing Education. It’s been a crazy 18 months with her taking on an accelerated program, my dad getting laid off and finding a new job, my engagement and wedding plans, my sister starting college, and all the while juggling…  Heard of being paid in love? Well, today I was paid in cupcakes. My AWESOME clients Donald and Ngan, who I met for the first time yesterday afternoon, greeted me with a white paper bag. They said, “We brought you a gift.” I said, “Thank you!” and then they said, “We brought cupcakes.” I think…  Ah, finally some sunshine. Originally, I was to meet up with Samantha and Matt at the beginning of May. The saying goes “April showers bring May flowers,” right? Well, the beginning of May in the San Francisco Bay Area proved otherwise. As in wet. As in rainy. As in gray and overcast. As in not…  I’m not sure which sounds longer. 60 days? Or 8 weeks? Either way, it doesn’t sound like enough time to get things finished, but it’s going to have to be. Two months from today, we’ll be tying the knot! After 14 months of being engaged, another two months seems like easy peasy lemon squeezy. But…
