Monthly Archives: April 2009 Alright, so not to get all weird or sentimental or mushy or self indulgent, but my little Facebook Widget told me that we have 100 days until our wedding. Whoa. Don’t worry Internet, the “whoa” is more like “Yeah, I’m excited!” not like “Whoa, oh crap.” See when you’ve been engaged for about 405 days… They met in their high school history class. Their romance started just as friends and soon their friendship blossomed into something more. And they have been together ever since. Long before they were married, they were already parts of each others families, recalling times of being welcomed for impromptu dinners or walking in through unlocked… Be still my heart, look what I found today! Like I’ve mentioned before, I have a serious love for cake. Keep it simple though; you don’t have to impress me with extravagant ganaches or fruity fillings. I’m good with box cake and frosting in a tub. Although, I do appreciate a fancy cake here and… With the wedding ticking down as the days pass, I’ve got to talk about our wedding. And the things that have made it easier. See, I’m making my own invitations. I’m a big fan of all things paper, but I couldn’t find anything quite right. I also like the look of letterpress, but with 150+… I went to UCSD, the University of California, San Diego for those not familiar with the UC System. It was a great time, I met some of my best friends, had the beach in my back pocket, and total access to California burritos and Carne Asada fries. Mmmmm. Carne Asada Fries. For those not familiar…
