Monthly Archives: March 2009 As a bride-to-be and a photographer, I’m a blog-a-holic. You should see my Google Reader. Most might think I might need to to get my head checked for all the blogs I browse, peruse, ogle, and read in full. Ok, it’s a lot. Sometime last year, shortly after our engagement, I discovered an AMAZING resource… No, not the movie. But maybe the dessert joint in Manhattan. Frozen hot chocolate, to die for! Wait, back to the point. A few weeks ago my crazy talented cousin, Mercy, sent me a message, asking me for tips on following your bliss and chasing dreams. “Who me?” I thought to myself, “What do I… I missed his text message. He called me saying that he was waiting at the curb. Where was I? Still at home. Oops. I drove up to the Mineta San Jose International Airport, and there he was shaking his head at me. Somehow, even with my best intentions, I’m always running late. Maybe it’s because… Let me just say, “What a whirlwind!” That’s what I feel WPPI was like. A completely new experience with so much learned, absorbed, observed, and tons of new ideas for my business and defining my shooting style. It was great! I would totally go again, even with how exhausted and drained I felt. But it…  Where did we leave off? Oh yes, a super fabulous fashion shoot with a little off-camera flash, with the awesome Lisa Whalen! Now I need to build up my arsenal of Pocket Wizards and flashes. Yet more stuff to add to my wish list. I’m ready and rarin’ to go do something like this again!
