As a bride-to-be and a photographer, I’m a blog-a-holic. You should see my Google Reader. Most might think I might need to to get my head checked for all the blogs I browse, peruse, ogle, and read in full. Ok, it’s a lot.
Sometime last year, shortly after our engagement, I discovered an AMAZING resource blog for brides, Elizabeth Anne Designs. They started as a small wedding blog and have grown into a budding community of bride bloggers, vendor highlights, and a community bulletin board. And they started an EAD Living blog for topics that fall outside the realm of exclusively weddings. Ami and Rebekah have been nothing short of fabulous developing their site, posting constant sources of inspiration, and featuring the DIY projects of uber-talented brides. Ami also shared her journey through planning and executing her jaw-droppingly gorgeous ten-year anniversary vow renewal in Atlanta, shot by Jessica Claire, Michael Norwood, and Mark Brooke – what a dream team!
I got a message from my fellow bride and friend Jess, saying “OH MY GOD!!!!! You so just popped up in my bloglines for EAD library links!!!! You’ve made it now :)” So I immediately jumped onto Google Reader to check it out. I hadn’t submitted my name. I remember submitting my photographer, Travis Hoehne‘s name several months ago after our engagement session, but I know I didn’t send them my name. Wow, so flattered! Me? Listed? HOLLLLA! THANKS AMI and REBEKAH!!! My listing can be found here, between San Diego-based Cary Pennington and my new friends, Mike and Natasha of San Francisco Bay Area-based Choco Studio. Check it out!
Brides, if you haven’t heard about Elizabeth Anne Designs, it’s a MUST-READ! All you could ever ask for in inspiration, ideas, advice, projects, and all-around awesomeness!
